Since 2003, Mr. Roloff has provided analysis and consulting services in digital forensics, electronic discovery, cell site location information (CSLI), and other technologies and electronic datasets that intersect with legal matters. These services are provided to all branches of the armed forces, state and federal public defenders, companies of all sizes, human resource departments, educational institutions, private investigators, law firms of all sizes, forensic accountants, and private individuals.
Analysis and consulting services include, but are not limited to: digital forensic examinations, discovery review, trial/hearing consultation, case strategy consultation, and expert testimony on legal issues relating to digital evidence and technology.
Mr. Roloff has analyzed electronic evidence and consulted on over fifteen hundred cases, provided consultation services in over 250 trials and hearings, and testified as an expert in digital, mobile, and computer forensics over 80 times.
These cases have included the investigation of electronic evidence in allegations of homicide, kidnapping, election fraud, wire fraud, Medicaid/Medicare fraud, sexual assault, solicitation of minors, sexual exploitation, unauthorized access (hacking), threats against the President, his family and staff, unauthorized systems use, internal investigations, theft of proprietary information, sex trafficking, espionage/terrorism and drug trafficking to name just a few.
Mr. Roloff frequently lectures on the topic of digital forensics and how it can be applied in the legal system. He has been recognized as a digital forensics, computer forensics and mobile forensics expert witness in United States district courts, United States military courts and many state courts throughout the country.
