Colby Robb, Digital Forensic Examiner

Mr. Robb began his career with Roloff Digital Forensics in 2024 as a Digital Forensic Technician and quickly advanced to the role of Digital Forensic Examiner, demonstrating an exceptional ability to learn, comprehend, and apply complex forensic methodologies. His strong analytical skills and insightful reporting have provided valuable support to legal teams through examinations, discovery review, trial consultation, and expert opinions on matters involving digital evidence.

Since joining RDF, Mr. Robb has performed mobile extractions, brute force unlocks, and forensic imaging of hard drives, in addition to conducting examinations across a wide range of digital media, including mobile devices, tablets, SIM cards, storage media, Computers, and cloud-based data. He also provides video and audio enhancement services to clarify and interpret digital media evidence for use in litigation. Additionally, Colby has expanded his knowledge and experience into infotainment systems, DVR systems, and the use of CDRs for Cell Site Location analysis and mapping.

Mr. Robb is a Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA), Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO), and Cellebrite Advanced Smartphone Analyst (CASA). He earned his Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology and Cybersecurity from Spokane Falls Community College, where he also competed in the National Cyber League and Spokane Cyber Cup.

Prior to his career in digital forensics, Mr. Robb gained experience in financial services and analytics, working as a Mortgage Lock Desk Specialist with Umpqua Bank, where he earned the 2020 Operational Excellence Award, and as a Market Analytics Specialist with Ecova.

Outside of his professional work, Mr. Robb enjoys exploring the outdoors of the Inland Northwest, particularly mountain biking.
